Terms & Conditions

Effective date: October 11, 2026

Please read these Terms carefully. They explain what you can expect from bcqrd, what we expect from you, and how purchases, content and disputes are handled.

1. Agreement to these terms

These Terms & Conditions (the "Terms") are a legal agreement between you and bcqrd ("bcqrd", "we", "us" or "our"). They govern your use of bcqrd.com, the bcqrd dashboard, digital business cards, and any physical NFC cards you order from us (together, the "Services").

By creating an account, placing an order or otherwise using the Services, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

If you use the Services on behalf of a company or other organization, you confirm that you have authority to bind it to these Terms, and "you" refers to that organization.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Services. The Services are operated from the United States and are intended for users in the United States.

  • Give accurate information when you register and keep it up to date.
  • Keep your password confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account.
  • Tell us promptly at info@bcqrd.com if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.

3. The Services

bcqrd lets you create digital business cards and share them through a link, a QR code or an NFC card. People you share with can view your card, save your contact details and choose to send their own details back to you.

We may add, change or remove features over time. We will try to give reasonable notice of changes that materially reduce a paid feature during your current plan term.

4. Plans, pricing and payment

We offer a Free plan and paid plans (currently Personal and Business). Current prices and features are shown on the Pricing page and at checkout.

  • Term. A paid plan is a single payment for 12 months of access. Paid plans do not renew automatically. To keep paid features after the term ends, you choose to renew.
  • Business seats. The Business plan is priced per seat, with a minimum number of seats that includes the admin.
  • Currency and tax. Prices are in US dollars. Applicable sales tax is shown and added at checkout.
  • Payment processing. Payments are processed by Stripe. You authorize us and Stripe to charge your payment method for the total shown at checkout. We do not store your full card number.
  • Price changes. We may change prices at any time. A change does not affect a plan term you have already paid for.
  • When a plan ends. Your account returns to the Free plan. Links you have shared continue to work. Cards beyond the Free plan limit, and team cards under a lapsed Business plan, are locked for editing until you renew.

Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy.

5. NFC card orders and shipping

Physical NFC cards can be ordered on any plan once you have created a digital card, and are produced to order for the card profile you select.

  • Check the name, details and design shown at checkout carefully. We print what you submit.
  • We currently ship to addresses in the United States. Any shipping charge is shown at checkout before you pay.
  • Delivery dates are estimates and are not guaranteed. Title and risk of loss pass to you when the order is handed to the carrier.
  • We may cancel and refund an order we cannot fulfill, for example because an item is out of stock or the order contains a pricing error.
  • NFC performance depends on the recipient's phone. Not every phone supports NFC, which is why every card also has a QR code and link.

6. Your content

You keep ownership of the text, images, logos and links you add to your cards ("Your Content"). You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce and display Your Content only as needed to operate and provide the Services, including showing your card to anyone who opens your link, QR code or NFC card.

You are responsible for Your Content and confirm that you have the rights to use it, and that it does not infringe anyone else's rights or break any law.

Information you publish on a card is visible to anyone who has the link. Do not publish anything you want to keep private.

7. Connections and other people's information

When someone shares their contact details with you through your card, those details are stored in your Connections list. You are responsible for how you use them. You agree to use connection data lawfully, including complying with laws on marketing emails, calls and text messages such as the CAN-SPAM Act and the Telephone Consumer Protection Act.

Business plan admins can view and manage the cards and connections of their team members. Team members should direct questions about that access to their admin.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • impersonate another person or business, or misrepresent your affiliation with anyone;
  • publish content that is unlawful, fraudulent, defamatory, harassing, hateful, sexually explicit or that infringes intellectual property or privacy rights;
  • use the Services for phishing, spam, malware distribution or to link to deceptive or harmful sites;
  • scrape, copy or harvest data from the Services or from other users' cards by automated means;
  • probe, interfere with or bypass the security or access controls of the Services;
  • resell or sublicense the Services without our written permission.

We may remove content or suspend accounts that we reasonably believe violate this section.

9. Our intellectual property

The Services, including the software, card themes, design, text, graphics and the bcqrd name and logo, are owned by bcqrd or its licensors and are protected by US and international intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Services in line with these Terms. No other rights are granted.

If you send us feedback or suggestions, you allow us to use them without restriction or payment.

If you believe content on the Services infringes your copyright, send a notice to info@bcqrd.com that includes: your contact details; a description of the copyrighted work; the URL of the material you want removed; a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized; a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act for the owner; and your physical or electronic signature. We respond to notices that meet the requirements of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act and may terminate the accounts of repeat infringers.

11. Third-party services

The Services rely on and may link to third-party services, such as payment processors, shipping carriers and the sites you link to from your card. We do not control those services and are not responsible for their content, policies or practices.

12. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the Services at any time and may ask us to delete your account by emailing info@bcqrd.com.

We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms, if required by law, or if your use creates risk for us or other users. Where reasonable, we will give you notice and a chance to fix the issue first. If we terminate a paid plan without cause, we will refund the unused portion of the term.

Sections that by their nature should survive termination, including those on content licenses, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification and governing law, will survive.

13. Disclaimers

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE". TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BCQRD DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE OR SECURE, OR THAT USING THEM WILL PRODUCE ANY PARTICULAR BUSINESS RESULT. SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OF CERTAIN WARRANTIES, SO PARTS OF THIS SECTION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

14. Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BCQRD AND ITS OWNERS, EMPLOYEES AND SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICES OR THESE TERMS.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICES WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM AND (B) US $100.

These limits apply regardless of the legal theory and even if a remedy fails of its essential purpose. Some states do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

15. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless bcqrd and its owners, employees and suppliers from any claims, damages, losses and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising from Your Content, your use of connection data, your misuse of the Services or your breach of these Terms.

16. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas and applicable US federal law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

Before filing a claim, you agree to contact us at info@bcqrd.com and try to resolve the dispute informally for at least 30 days. If it is not resolved, you and bcqrd agree that any claim will be brought only in the state or federal courts located in Harris County, Texas, and each of us consents to the jurisdiction of those courts. Either party may bring an individual claim in small-claims court where it qualifies.

17. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify you by email or in the dashboard. Your continued use of the Services after the changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

18. General

  • These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Refund Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us about the Services.
  • If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
  • Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it.
  • You may not assign these Terms without our consent. We may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets.
  • We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control.
